The Crusaders 2024 Heritage jersey is a nod to one of the most treasured and iconic Crusaders playing jerseys in history – the 1998 & 1999 playing jersey. After finishing dead-last in the inaugural season of Super Rugby in 1996, the Crusaders underwent a remarkable turnaround to finish sixth in 1997 before being crowned champions for the first time in 1998 – the start of their Super Rugby dynasty. Worn by Crusaders greats including Andrew Mehrtens, Scott Robertson, Todd Blackadder & Reuben Thorne during the 1998/1999 seasons, the Crusaders 2024 heritage jersey is a symbol of these icons and memories, and features the iconic red & black stripe design employed during those seasons.
The jersey is launched in time for the Crusaders Round 5 match up at Eden Park against the Blues - a homage to the 1998 Crusaders v Blues blockbuster final at Eden Park where the Crusaders scored late through James Kerr to defeat the two-time champions the Blues by a margin of 20-13. You may return goods to us within 14 days, providing they are in their original condition (new, unused, unworn, unwashed, tags still on), for either an exchange, credit or refund. Footwear must be returned in their original box, undamaged. The courier cost is non-refundable. You will be required to pay the courier cost to return goods back to you.
